You’ve Already Got Enough to Manage.

An event that looks simple to your guests rarely feels simple to the person planning it.

  • There’s the music.
  • The microphones.
  • The timeline.
  • The introductions.
  • The personalities.
  • The venue.
  • The speakers.
  • The vendors.
  • The technology.
  • The fifteen-minute delay nobody mentioned.
  • And the song your uncle has now requested three times.

You don’t need another vendor waiting for you to tell them what to do.You don’t need another vendor waiting for you to tell them what to do.

You need an event professional who understands what you’re trying to create and can take responsibility for helping make it happen.

Because if something matters enough to bring all these people together…

YOU should get to experience it too.

What a Great Event Should Give You

An Experience That Feels Personal

Your event shouldn’t feel like somebody else’s playlist, script or party with your names dropped into it.

We start with your people, your purpose and the atmosphere you’re trying to create.

Confidence That Someone Is Paying Attention

Music. Timing. Announcements. Sound. Energy. Transitions.

You shouldn’t spend your event wondering who’s watching all of that.

The Freedom to Be Present

  • Host the customer.
  • Dance at the wedding.
  • Talk with your friends.
  • Celebrate your dad.
  • Enjoy the party.

You brought everybody together. You should get to be there too.

I’ve Been on Your Side of the Microphone.

I’m Nick Salvatoriello—DJ Nick Sal.

I’ve been DJing and performing since I was a teenager, but I’ve spent much of my professional life somewhere very different from the DJ booth.

  • Inside technology companies.
  • Marketing organizations.
  • Agencies.
  • Partner ecosystems.
  • Leading teams.
  • Planning programs.
  • Working with executives.
  • Speaking at conferences.
  • Attending conferences.
  • Hiring vendors.
  • Being the client.
  • Being the presenter.

And wondering, like everybody else in the audience, whether the next session really needed 74 slides.

I’ve also spent a lifetime around a lot of different people.

Literally.

I’m one of 11 children.

Add in a liberal arts education, years of travel, performance, family life and nearly three decades of events, and I’ve become pretty comfortable moving between very different personalities, generations, professions and settings.

That’s useful because the people at your event aren’t an abstract “crowd.”

They’re your colleagues.

Your clients.

Your parents.

Your kids.

Your CEO.

Your college roommates.

Your neighbors.

Your grandmother.

And maybe all of them in the same room.

I don’t need them to be like me. I need to be able to relate to them.

That’s what I bring to the event.

Three Steps to a Better Event

1. Tell Me About the People

Start with a conversation.

Who’s coming?

Why are you bringing them together?

What’s important?

What do you want the event to feel like?

And what are you worried might not work?

Tell Me About Your Event

2. We’ll Build the Right Experience

We’ll determine what makes sense for the event:

  • Music.
  • Professional emceeing.
  • Audience engagement.
  • Sound systems.
  • Microphones.
  • Lighting.
  • Presentation support.
  • A custom soundtrack.
  • Or some combination of the above.

No default package simply because that’s what everybody else bought.

3. Be Present for It

I’ll come prepared.

I’ll understand the plan.

I’ll collaborate with the other people involved.

And when the real event inevitably differs slightly from the version we discussed on Zoom…

I’ll adjust.

So you can spend less time managing the DJ, microphone or schedule…

and more time with the people you brought together.

The Goal Isn’t a Great DJ.

It’s a Great Event.

The best outcome isn’t that everybody leaves saying:

“Wow. That DJ sure was impressive.”

It’s that the wedding felt completely like the couple.

The company event helped colleagues relax and connect.

The customer reception felt worth staying for.

Three generations found themselves dancing together.

The speakers sounded polished.

The important words were heard.

The person who organized everything wasn’t running around troubleshooting it.

And when everyone goes home, you feel like bringing those people together was worth it.

That’s success.

Don’t Spend Your Event Running Your Event.

Anyone can press play.

Anyone can hold a microphone.

And there are plenty of places willing to rent you a speaker.

The hard part is making all of those pieces serve the reason everybody is there in the first place.

Without the right support, even a well-planned event can become a collection of little distractions:

An awkward transition.

A speech nobody can hear.

A soundtrack that never quite connects.

A room that feels generic.

Or a host who spends the night fixing problems instead of being with their guests.

You shouldn’t spend your event solving problems you hired somebody else to prevent.

From Event Manager to Confident Host.

You don’t have to personally control every detail for an event to feel personal.

In fact, the opposite is usually true.

The right event partner lets you provide the vision without carrying every piece of execution yourself.

So instead of being: The person constantly asking, “What’s happening next?”

You get to become: The person who brought everyone together—and looks like they thought of everything.

At a wedding, that means being present with the people you love.

At a corporate event, it means connecting with your customers or team.

At a family celebration, it means being in the pictures instead of standing beside the sound system.

That’s the transformation I’m trying to create.

Bring the People. I’ll Help With the Experience.

Tell me who’s coming.

Tell me why you’re bringing them together.

Tell me what you want them to feel.

We’ll figure out what combination of music, hosting, sound and event support makes sense from there.

Then you can get back to the reason you planned the event in the first place:

the people.
